Corporate Communications Lead

About The Position

Quali is looking to hire a Corporate Communications Lead responsible for driving awareness and key messaging across owned, earned, and paid channels. The scope of the role includes crafting strategies and implementing your awareness and engagement plans including public relations (PR), media outreach, influencer outreach, events, social media, as well as customer and employee communications

In this role you will directly drive the visibility of Quali, its customer successes, product innovations, and employee profiles. As key member of the Marketing team, you should thrive in a technology startup environment and be comfortable with fast changes. This role requires amplifying our brand messages that are memorable and effective.

Successful candidates will lean on previous B2B enterprise software/SaaS experience and can articulate the value that Quali provides to it customers and partners. The ideal candidate will have excellent written and communications skills, understand and articulate our unique value, and have the organizational skills to successfully synchronize messages, audiences, and timing.

Responsibilities

  • Absorb and understand Quali’s history and value to its customers
  • Take ownership of key communications channels including press releases, blogs, award applications, social media, newsletters, customer advisory boards, media relationships and publication schedules, employee updates, and influencer outreach
  • Work with PR, Advertising, and others to build media plans that result in coverage and mentions
  • Produce key corporate presentations of Quali as an innovator and an employer
  • Track, monitor, and report on message frequency and effectiveness in driving awareness and understanding

Requirements

  • A positive attitude, ability to work with others, and accept change
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Public Relations, Journalism, Communications, English, or related field
  • Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience
  • Knowledge of B2B enterprise software/SaaS, key companies, influencers, publications, and tech media members
  • Demonstrated ability to create, deliver, and measure communications plans
  • Strong oral and written communication skills for multiple audiences including media, executive, and customers
  • Organizational skills and an assertive sense of urgency
