Director of Product Cloudshell Pro

About The Position

The Director of Product reports to the CPO and is the head of Product for our CloudShell platform.

He/She will be responsible for providing leadership and management of the CloudShell Product organization and in-bound and out-bound Product activities worldwide. The Head of Product will drive the Company’s efforts to position itself as a visionary and thought leader in its emerging market and to achieve its revenue goals.

  • Oversee product vision and delivery across the CloudShell product.
  • Oversee Product Management activities including managing product roadmaps, developing business use cases, gathering customer and market requirements, pricing, product performance/metrics analysis and sustaining the product post-launch to ensure market competitiveness.
  • Work closely with Sales and Business Development teams to identify new market opportunities and develop concept documents/business cases as needed
  • Collaborate with the leaders of marketing, service delivery, R&D & sales to shape and maintain the product vision and roadmap
  • Create long-term product roadmap aligned with business strategy and growth initiatives to create industry-leading products
  • Hands on responsibilities for improving current products and developing next-generation products, including usability testing, insights gathering through customer interviews, competitive analysis, and writing user stories with acceptance criteria for engineering
  • Cultivate a results-oriented and continuous improvement culture to ensure consistent innovation and progress across the product lines
  • Support the product development leadership team to ensure timely development and launch of products, by providing business requirements and market research
  • Partner with marketing and sales leadership team to define go-to-market strategies for various products and customer segments. Support marketing team members on new product launches, new client launches and ongoing campaigns
  • Define pricing strategy and set pricing for CloudShell and solutions to optimize product profitability and drive market share
  • Represent the company at industry forums, events and associations
  • Establish and manage external third-party vendor and partner relationships
  • Build an effective product management team by recruiting, mentoring and motivating product managers.
  • Develop and track metrics and success criteria for all Product programs and activities. 


  • Previously demonstrated exceptional performance in a product management leadership role, entrepreneurial product successes, ability to learn rapidly and continued drive.
  • 10 years of Product Management experience in comparable industries (i.e., Enterprise Software and SaaS) with 4 years in a senior management position (i.e. Director level and up).
  • Proven experience working on products with a technical audience, highly knowledgeable with the following technologies: virtualization, cloud, networking.
  • Exceptional track record in effectively leading and managing teams to produce on-time, high-quality deliverables with a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Experience creating clear messaging and positioning that presents a compelling strategic vision, articulates technical differentiation and demonstrates business value for customers.
  • Ability to plan and manage at both strategic and operational levels. Strong strategic planning and analysis skills in Product, Business Development and Business (competitive) Strategy, with a metrics-driven approach to planning, managing, and executing product initiatives.
  • Ability to be hands-on and detail-oriented, while maintaining perspective of the “big picture” and long-term vision.
  • Excellent project management skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and staff to create a results-driven, team-oriented environment.
  • Excellent communicator capable of building relationships and communicating effectively with every level of the organization, as well as external customers and partners, through outstanding verbal, written, and presentation skills.
  • BS in Computer Science or an equivalent technical degree is required.
  • MBA desired.
