About The Position

Product Marketing Manager (Cloudshell)

Quali’s Product Marketing role is responsible for promoting Quali’s Cloudshell product and the features to Quali’s target audience. Duties include studying Quali’s products, identifying key enhancements and features that will attract customers, creating and supporting product marketing campaigns, coordinating, and driving to success the release of new and updated products.

 

The Product Marketing Manager will be an expert on the company’s Cloudshell product(s) to ensure Quali properly markets them and informs prospects and customers of the value and benefits. The role supports marketing programs, events, messaging, and collateral creation, prioritizing the work against marketing’s goals with measurable company outcomes.

 

The Product Marketing Manager, Cloudshell will collaborate with sales and channel teams, translating product messages with a goal to move targeted audiences to action by delivering material and educating them on the products’ features while monitoring sales momentum and product revenues to ensure product marketing deliverables are effective and valuable.

 

Key areas of focus include product advocacy, product sales alignment, content coordination/creation, sales tools coordination/creation and sales and channel updates and training.

Responsibilities

  • Identify the content needed to support the marketing programs, plan, and deliver the material.
  • Taking technical product content and translating the detail into value aimed at specific personas. 
  • Collaborate with product strategy, product management and marketing communications to develop product positioning and messaging that resonate with our target buyer personas.
  • Work with Product Strategy to be the expert on buyers, who are they, how they buy and their key buying criteria.
  • Work with marketing to create the marketing program content in support of marketing’s theme-based programs, events, and lead generation activities.
  • Plan the launches of net-new products and releases of existing products and manage the cross-functional implementation of the plan.
  • Understand and support our sales channels; train them on the problems we solve for our buyers and users; develop internal tools and external collateral and teach them how and when to use it. 
  • Understand the competitive landscape—be an expert on our competition and how they are positioned.
  • Build and maintain content library including positioning guides, sales training materials, competitive positioning, sales decks, demo scripts, and collateral to support the sales process.
  • Deliver a quarterly product marketing material/content/support plan, aligned with product enhancements, and sales pipeline objectives.  

Requirements

  • Required Experience and Skills
  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Proven experience of at least 5 years in product marketing, brand management or similar field.
  • 10+ years’ technical experience (product implementation and use).
  • Familiarity with IT infrastructure technology, architectures, services, and requirements a necessity.  
  • The ideal position for this position is proven, ambitious, confident, self-sufficient, goal oriented, high-energy with a positive can-do attitude.
  • Understands how to prioritize workloads and deliver on-time to a plan/agreed schedule.
  • Working knowledge of cloud, cloud services, tools and use and knowledge of infrastructure configuration tools an advantage.
  • Able to work collaboratively and effectively with multiple teams and individuals.  
  • Able to build internal relationships with sales and marketing.
  • Ability to work with products and demonstrate them effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Fast learner.
