Stack Automation in action
A complete rack-to-app deployment walkthrough, from solution modeling in the Solutions Hub through to validated, production-ready infrastructure, automated end-to-end without a single manual configuration step.

Three capabilities
One connected experience
Day 0: Planning Solutions Hub — Hundreds of pre-built blueprints, ready to deploy
Choose from a catalog of pre-validated solutions covering Cisco and third-party software. Model solutions, visualise every component, and generate a bill of materials before a single server ships.
Day 1: Deployment Rack-to-app automation — Production-ready in hours
A single automated execution provisions networking, compute, storage, and every software layer end-to-end. Cisco-validated security settings are embedded from the first moment, not applied as an afterthought.
Customization: Blueprint Designer Extend and adapt – your IaC, your tools, your pace
Tailor validated blueprints or build from scratch using existing Terraform, Ansible, Helm, and Phyton assets. Agentic AI tools generate, optimise, and self-heal configurations – no proprietary lock-in, no rip and replace.

Stack Automation is a Quali product, co-engineered with Cisco and offered exclusively through Cisco channels. It combines Quali’s automation engine with Cisco’s infrastructure expertise, including Cisco Validated Designs, to deliver a cloud-like deployment experience on-premises. Native integrations with Cisco Intersight and Nexus Dashboard are built in from day one.
Quali’s automation engine has powered the Cisco DevNet Sandbox for years, providing on-demand access to complex, real-world IT environments at scale. That proven track record, combined with a shared vision for the future of enterprise IT operations, led to the decision to co-engineer Stack Automation together.
Stack Automation is built on Torque, Quali’s infrastructure automation platform. It uses the same automation engine, blueprint model, and governance layer, configured specifically for Cisco infrastructure and distributed exclusively through Cisco. Torque serves multi-cloud, multi-vendor environments across the full infrastructure lifecycle. Stack Automation is Torque’s Cisco-exclusive, Day 0–1 focused edition.
Stack Automation and Torque are complementary, not competing. If you’re a Torque customer running Cisco infrastructure, Stack Automation gives your Cisco team a purpose-built, Cisco-channel deployment experience on top of the same platform you already use. The two products share the same automation foundation.
Yes. Stack Automation covers Day 0–1 deployment for Cisco infrastructure. If your needs expand to multi-cloud environments, multi-vendor infrastructure, Day 2 operations — drift detection, cost governance, self-service environments, or agentic AI infrastructure management, Torque is the natural next step. Speak with your Quali representative about how the two platforms can work together.
All support is provided by Quali. If a Cisco API or product issue is identified, Quali works directly with Cisco TAC to resolve it. For third-party software, Quali coordinates with the relevant partners. For purchasing, commercial queries, and Cisco-specific questions, contact your Cisco account representative.
Yes. Stack Automation continuously monitors every deployed environment against its validated blueprint. Configuration drift, cost attribution, and out-of-band change governance are built into the platform. Environments are tracked from initial deployment through their full operational life. For organizations that need multi-cloud, multi-vendor operational management beyond Cisco infrastructure, Torque extends these capabilities across the full estate.
